Hello,
I assume I'm just blind, but I'm trying to use the bulk edit tool to change
call transfer settings. I want to have calls transfered by the auto attenda
nt to go directly to the users greeting during office hours, but ring there
phone after hours. I know that sounds backwards, but it's what I need to do
. I need to do this to about 900 of 1200 phones.

Thanks,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... I've got bad news. Bulk Edit
(and Bulk Admin) were both written for UC 1.1, where there was only a
single transfer rule, so they don't edit the other two. This is fixed in
the 2.0 tools, but, word on the street is there is no intention of
fixing this in the 1.x versions.

Also, FYI, if you do edit the one rule that you see in the tool, the
changes will be applied to the alternate rule.

Just by luck I have a temporary work around. The DN numbers I do not
want to call during the day are already in another partition and the
Voicemail ports have their own calling search space. So I can just move
the scheduling to the call manager side. But I still need to clean it
up so callers do not get the "please wait while I transfer your call"
and then get voicemail. And when whoever follows behind me they do not
have to wonder what was he thinking.
