Hi ,
I have an orchestration configured to receive messages from a Message
Queue.The inbound port is an MSMQC adapter.I am receiving the following
error in the event viewer once i put the message in the Message queue
"Could not read MSMQ message because:

DROPPING MESSAGE!"

I tried it on two different machines but am getting the same error.Is there
something which i am missing?

What OS are you using? Did you check the access rights for the queue (The
user you are using for the biztalk service should have read rights).  Is
your local queue transactional?

I am getting a very similar error message in the event viewer while trying t
o do the same thing, only my message has more information:

"Could not read MSMQ message because: A workgroup installation computer does
 not support the operation.
DROPPING MESSAGE!"

oh my.  is there any easy recovery from this?

I'm getting the same thing, I'm running biztalk and msmq on the same machine
.  I can use the msmqc adapter to post a message from biztalk 2004 to msmq b
ut can't get biztalk to recieve a message from msmq through the msmqc adapte
r.

Anyone find a solution for this??
