Hi,

I have Windows XP SP 1 with FrontPage 2003, and I have installed IIS and Fro
ntPage 2002 Extensions. How do I publish my web locally to c:\Intepub\wwwroo
t for testing purposes? After publishing will I able to see the hit counters
 and search web components?

Thanks.

I have to ask: Why are you creating a disk based web then publishing it to
your own local server? Why aren't you simply creating a server based web
and forgoing all this?

In all my years of seeing this, I've never understood why people do this.

See http://www.microsoft.com/resources/...doc/owsd02.mspx for enabling the FP SE and
then just open your local server in FP using http://localhost/
