Hello…I have sametime 7.0 configured with eDirectory…and portal 6.0.1.1 
configured with the same eDirectory…sametime authenticates fine users in t
he eDirectory when I try to login from sametime connect to web. But when I t
ry to configure the portal
with the same time with the domino configuration wizard it fails with the er
ror “”LDAP type is not supported”<br />

And when I try to configuration with the wpscofig it ends successfully but t
he contact list portlet display the error that Sametime is not configured…
.<br />

Do anyone know if the problem is because eDirectory is not supported or some
thing else…?<br />

I had the same error message in a diffeent context recently. Finally I manag
ed to solve the problem by changing the value in the notes.ini of the sameti
me sever for SAMETIMEDIRECTORYTYPE. This seems to be the setting which is re
ad by DPI wizard.

 not sure what value it should take...is it (*LDAP*)?<br />
