I don't know anything about MCMS 2001 but in 2002 you=20
have to set the your web entry point in the SCA to "Yes -=20
Read Write" and you have to put a (default)console to you=20
template and of course your authoring/administrative=20
account needs rights to manipulate (> subscriber role)=20
the current page (sitemanager).

Ahhhh...

The site is read\write and I have logged in as an MSCMS
Administrator..

But the issue I am awry about is putting in the default console into
our templates...
In MSCMS2002, the only way to edit templates, well for us, is to edit
them via Web Author....
This has got us chasing our tails... can someone provide some
information on adding the console to our templates?
I have had a look around and do not really understand it...

Have you migrated the templates to asp.net (aspx files) ? Asp.net templates
in MCMS 2002 is best edited with Visual Studio.NET.

To add the console, you need to add the defaultconsole user control to the
template aspx-file. For a normal MCMS project in Visual Studio.NET this is
just a matter of dragging the defaultconsole user control onto the template.
