Can we have such a scenario that when different users log in  portal site ,t
he available portlets they see in content pallete flyout are also diferent b
ased on some roles.<br />

If this is possible plz guide me how to proceed to achieve this functionalit
y..<br />

go to resource permissions in the portal administrator.<br />
<br />
you can assign permissions to portlets

I have tried but what i think u have said is about general acess permissions
 what i want is for different users the image icons(for portlets) that we se
e in content palette should come according to permissions.<br />
plz help
