FYI : BTSConfig seems to corrupt the MSMQ Channel configs.
This was resolved by going through each and every channel
AFTER the BTSConfig restore, going into the advanced MSMQ
properties (last tab), fiddling with the transactional
radio buttons (but changing nothing), and saving the
channel again. Not nice, but guess is better than having
to pull tons of channels, doc defs and maps one by one
again.
