Hi

I'm intermittently getting the following error when I try to re-deploy a BTS
2004 Project on an XP Pro development box using VS.NET.
(All BTS fixes have been applied as far as I know)

'Failed updating binding information.
BindingException: Orchestration "<MyNewlyAddedOrchestration>" not found in
binding file'

The project has already been deployed and is running successfully but if I
add a new orchestration to the project, unelist the existing orchestrations,
then try execute deploy from VS.NET menu I get the error.

It has happened (I think) each time I've added a new orchestration.

Has any one experienced this and if so is this something I'm doing wrong or
missing something or is this a bug of some sort?

The only way I can resolve this has been to fully undeploy and start again.
This means rebinding all the ports etc.

On a *possibly* related note (and actually more serious)

If I attempt to stop the BizTalk Application Host using the BizTalk Admin
console my machine crashes (no blue screen, an immediate shutdown). I've had
three such crashes each one around the time a binding exception described
above has occurred - definitely after the last BindingException.

Any advice would be appreciated
Regards
Jim Nicolson
