I used Nero 6 backup app to backup my hd about 2 weeks ago, and 2 days ago
my hd started the death clicking, so i figured it was a gone'r. It was an
IBM 60gig in my dell 8250. so i thought i'd be ok with a new drive and
using my backup.

in the restore operation, it asks for the .nbi file, which i had, which i
suppose it the history or map of what was backed up. the backup was done
using nero's compression, so all the files have a nco extension.

in the wizard, which is pretty straight forward, it fails at the "restore"
command with the error "ZIP file cannot be opened" Nero charges $1.50 per
minute, which i did, but the tech was either new or didn't know what he was
doing. after 10 minutes of trying to explain, he said he'd call me back,
and to this day, has not.

now, this is the interesting part. i can click on each file in the back up
and it will ask me to open it, i say yes and it will actually resotre that
one file to its origianl location. that works fine, but, i've got too many
files to expect ot do them one at a time.

i am convinced the app has a bug in it. has anyone experinced this and does
anyone have an idea or workaround to my restore issue.

thanks in advance,
if i could trouble you to email me too the response, it would be cool.
