I oft see folkes requesting means to recover deleted, or older versions of,
files.

Are products such as Undelete any good?
What are recommended products in this category?

Recovering deleted files is impossible at all, because continues clusters
addresses resides only
in FAT and if they are deleted then this information is just lost. You can
undelete only small
files those fit into one cluster or files that aren't fragmented. Try
example "Directory Snoop" undelete
program.
