Microsoft will charge you 25,000$ USD per CPU license, and no one of them ca
re to give you the proper error message:

 

 

The document at the url http://localhost:89/_vti_bin/WSSDocLibService.asmx w
as not recognized as a known document type.

The error message from each known type may help you fix the problem:

- Report from 'WSDL Document' is 'The document format is not recognized (the
 content type is 'text/html; charset=utf-8').'.

- Report from 'DISCO Document' is 'There was an error downloading 'http://lo
calhost:89/_vti_bin/WSSDocLibService.asmx?disco'.'.

- The request failed with the error message:

Have you confirmed that this is not due to the file having been not found
on the IIS machine?
If the server is configured to redirect you to an error page, it could
confuse an automated client.
