We are having an issue with shopping carts that are no longer valid
for buyer.  We use contracts for all of our item pricing.

Here's what happens:

1. Buyer places item Y in their shopping cart but does not check out.
Item pricing is in contract X.

2. Business disables contract X.  Business updates pricing for item Y
in a new contract Z.

3. Buyer attempts to complete checkout of existing shopping cart, but
recieves generic error.

We have found that the shopping cart is no longer valid was the
contract that contains these prices is removed.

Has anyone else experienced this problem with contracts.  We are using
5.4 and was wondering if it is resolved in the newer versions.
