Greetings

I'm working on my first linux box and I can't seem to get apache2 to functio
n properly. It seems to start up without a hitch, with no errors in the err
or_log. My file permissions are like they should be too, however, when I ty
pe my ip into a browser it
gives me the "cannot find server" page. I have port forwarding and a dmz se
t up on the router (it can be ssh'd into from both outside and inside my hom
e network). What can i do to fix this or what should I look at?

Ja, but is it working? netstat -an | grep 80 what does said about?
ps -ef | grep httpd does show something? Do you have a firewall?

And a ping with the same IP does return?
