Now, we have a BTS2004 Server. What about the development team? How can we c
onfigure their machines to develop schemas and orchestrations and then deplo
y them to the server?
What are the components that have to be installed on the developer machine t
o be able to develop orchestrations, create business rules and track test me
ssages?

Thanks,

Depends on your plans to have dev connected to production system or not.
You can install dev tools and runtime to get all the stuff they need. Then
configure them to join the production system(probably not what you're
planning), or create a new dev system for staging.

There's no built in staging mechanisms. There is an SDK untility called
BTSInstaller that is an MSI project with custom actions to deploy an
application. Appcenter can gac the assemblies across multiple machines for
you.

Don't forget the runtime if you plan on deploying to your dev box to test
it. You can create a new group(database) or connect to an existing
one...again, it depends on what your company/IT policy is with regard to
production/dev environment integration. If you own the production system
and trust all your developers, you *can* connect to production, but its not
recommended. I personally would create a new group just for development.

do I configure it to use the server located in another machine?
