Dell, try this:

cat /etc/passwd | mksmbpasswd.sh > /etc/samba/smbpasswd

then

smbpasswd USERNAME

The first one will pipe your redhat account a samba account, the
second command changes your samba password.

Also, make sure that you have your smb.conf configed with the user
share that you want to use.

Did you add the machine accounts?
