Your FP web in the My Webs Folder (in My Documents) is normally a disc based
web, not a server based web
- if you have a web folder there w/ www.something, FP does not support disc
based webs w/ a dot in the folder name
Explain what type of local of remote web you have

| I have just installed a new hard drive in my machine
| and when attempting to open a Web in my Web Folders I
| receive the following error message :
|
| "Could not find a web server at 'www._____.com' on port
| 80. Please check to make sure that the web server name is
| valid and your proxy settings are set correctly. If you
| are sure that everything is correct, the web server may be
| temporarily out of service."
|
| The web server IS accessible.I do not know what settings to
| change to gain access as I had it before the reformat of
| the hard drive.
|
| ANY help to adjust these settings is very graciously
| accepted.
|
| Thanks
