I have godaddy.com for a host, provider, and whatever it means to get
them to provide me with server space and a personal url. I have my
site set up in frontpage 2003 and tried using it to publish the site
to the godaddy server and tried using ftp explorer to upload to the
site. Each time it did not work, after waiting the 2 day period max
time limit for the site info to appear on godaddy servers. The first
time I tried uploading I used the ftp settings and the error page it
sent me to said that the site is comming soon. So then I tried just
using http settings to upload and then it gave me the normal error
page saying that the page does not exist or whatever. Are you
supposed to upload to a certain folder under the account? When I
upload I noticed serveral folders defaulted already their. I tried
making my own folder and putting my site stuff their, tried putting it
in no folder what so ever, and tried putting it in one of their
folders titled private. the folders that were pre-existing are named
_private, _vti_bin, _vti_cnf, _vti_log, _vti_pvt, _vti_txt,
cgi,php_uploads, and stats. And if your wondering if I renamed my
weclome page to index.html or default.html, its index. I found that
much out so far. Thanks for all the help in advance.
