Hello All,

I just got through reading an article in "WIRED" about SCO's Darl
McBride, and his quest to bring down Linux, and every thing true to the
world of open source. To quote the writer, Brad Stone, McBride's
"strategy threatens to undo the progress of Linux and other free
operation systems developed by programmers who believe that collaborative
efforts have produced the most robust and reliable code."
It seems that McBride is really trying to stir things up. What I
would like to know is, could he be successful? Is that even a
possibility? You can read this even interesting article at:

http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/12.07/linux.html

Check it out, and please spew, this is upsetting!

Mark.

Decide for yourself, visit http://www.groklaw.net/ and other places. Spend
some time reviewing the whole SCO vs IBM, Novell, Red Hat, Daimler
Chrysler and Auto Zone for the past year plus.

Where have you been? this has been kicked around at length on several
news groups and mailing lists for months.

No, he's just trying to the stock price up so his options
will be worth something before SCO goes under.
