I have updated my pc and now Drive Image 2002 will not start.
I had been running Win XP Home, C:\ drive partition in FAT 32
The new system is also WIN XP Home but the C:\ drive is partitioned in
NTSF.

DI 2002 seemingly installs without a hitch in to the Program Files
folder but it does not start.
When trying to start the program it loads the Drive Image splash
screen for a couple of seconds and then nothing. XP does not hang but
DI does not load.

Who can help me, please?

So you're saying that Drive Image 2002 did work before you have updated your
PC (FAT32 -> NTFS as file system)?

Does it run in Safe Mode? If it also refuses to start does Drive Image run
OK when starting it either from the rescue disks or from the program CD-ROM?

Hi Michael, thank you for attempting to help me.
Yes DI 2002 worked in the previous system which was configured for
FAT32.
Starting from rescue is not working, it goes through the same motions
and displays the splash screen briefly and then silently disappears.

You may want to post here an output of a partitioninfo.
Boot from the first floppy disk and hit <Esc> as soon as you are prompted to
insert disk #2,
leave disk #1 in the disk drive and make sure that the write protect notch
of disk #1 is released.

Enter:

partinfo > pi.txt

post here a link to the file "pi.txt" that you have uploaded somewhere...Do
not post it here...
