This may be simple for some people and could save me time messing about!!

I have set up an FTP site and enabled the banner message.

I have Win XP with IE6. When connecting to the site I get prompted to login
as I should but dont see the banner message!!

Is this an IIS issue or browser issue?

Ta
Jim

Jim,

Its a browser issue. IE isn't really a true FTP client. Try logging in
using the Windows command line FTP client ftp.exe and you should see
the banner message, as you will in most other FTP clients.

Rewrite your browser to place the banner where you wish it to be.
This isn't an IIS or FTP issue. Perhaps an IE group can offer more.
