Cannot run the FrontPage Server Extensions' Smart HTML
interpreter on this non-HTML

Any sugegstions on why this comes up?

Open the web that is on the server (using File | Open Web and entering the
URL you normally publish to) and run Recalculate Hyperlink. There are some
more details and instructions on this at:

My first thought is that the extensions aren't in place on  the server or ha
ve become corrupt.

The FrontPage form relies on both the extensions and publishing with FrontPa
ge to http location. If you used FTP, the form will not function and this ca
n corrupt the extensions, necessitating a reinstall.

You might first try changing your file results to Formatted text and republi
sh.

If you did publish with FrontPage to http, then try reinstalling or resettin
g the extensions. And, republish.
