i have installed wps fixpack 2.
but why running the ./WPSconfig.sh WP-PTF-502 -DPortalAdminPwd=wpsadmin

i get the following
# ./WPSconfig.sh WP_PTF_502 -DPortalAdminPwd=wpsadmin
Licensed Materials - Property of IBM
5724-E76, 5724-E77
(C) Copyright IBM Corp. 2001, 2003  All Rights Reserved.

Running WebSphere Portal 5.0.0.0 configuration
/usr/WebSphere/AppServer/java/bin/native2ascii ../config/wpconfig.properties
 ../
config/wpconfig_ascii.properties
Setting cfg.file.name.original to wpconfig.properties
Setting cfg.file.name to wpconfig_ascii.properties
Buildfile: wpconfig.xml

BUILD FAILED Target `WP_PTF_502' does not exist in this project.

You might want to try installing Fixpack 2 again. What was the command you
used (with parameters) to install fixpack 2?
I had a problem before where I thought I was installing fixpack 2 but I
forgot to add the '-install' switch to the 'updateportal' command.

Hi,
 i to had the same problem.The problem is that the WPS fix pack 2 has not be
en properly installed. As a result the WP_PTF_502.xml has not been created.
just check the log files you got while installing wps fix pack 2.
my problem while installing fix pack 2 was space.

first when i was trying to install wps fix pack 2 on AIX. i was got exceptio
n while installing it.then i tried to uninstall the thing. The problem here 
was space .and then i tried to install in again.And it said wps fixpack 2 wa
s sucessfully installed.And then i tried to run the Wpsconfig again, and it 
gave me the same error that u are getting.

Then the next thing i did was to install everything from scratch again.
