Go to start/control panels/administrative tools/services
Once the app starts up, you can look for the rule update service and see if
its state is "started".
You may also want to check the event log for other errors related to the
rule service.

example on Loan Processor.I changed the rules and I was able to see the
output. In trying to make a similar application, I changed it too and hence
now even the sample Loan Processor application is not running. But the
reason it is NOT running is that I have messed around with the Case schema
or something. I think that the windows rules service is running. But as I
said I am not sure how to verify this . Apprecaite if you can throw some
light on this.[vbcol=seagreen]
