Hi!

I'm having problems installing AppCenter on a Virtual PC (Windows 2000 Adv.
Svr) build.
I'm using the SP2 build of AppCenter and it gets about 3/4 thru the setup
before failing with a 1722 error - the setup then rolls back.

Has anyone encountered this, or help out in anyway - I've installed from the
very same distribution on to VMWare no problems.

thanks
s.

Can you post your ac_setup.log from the winnt folder? It should get
generated if you run setup.hta and let it rollback.

Thank You

I can't post it here (even as a zip) there appears to be a limit on message
size - the ZIP is 140K.

In the ac_setup.log, start from the top and search for the first instance
of "return value 3". Copy that line and the 10 lines above it and post
your reply here.

Thank You

Try running setup with Application Center tracing enabled. Run
traceoutput.reg on CD in SUPPORT directory and then run dbmon in a command
window before you start the install. Post the output from dbmon if you
need more help.
