Hi Hal,
Actually just an hour ago I finally saw the way (or *a* way), and it
works, but of course is not documented anywhere.... I put the tape in
and told the PC to label it, then on the 'Devices' tab that tape shows
up as, yknow, addressable. Drag it into the new empty media set and
finally the backup procedure sees it and will use it.
Seems like a convoluted way to get it done, but it works (and I didn't
have to redefine the different backup jobs.
