hi

i made a project use base edi adapter, there are two questions

(1)

i want to pick up a xml file through file adapter and send out in edi
format, everything is ok ,but i can't get the edi file in the output folder

i checked the HAT edi report view ,the status of the message is "in
external format",actually the edi file has been created in "C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\BizTalk Server
 2004\EDI\Subsystem\Documents\System\Inte
rnal\Outbox" ,why hasn't it been
sent to the destination?

and about 20min later ,there is an Error in Application Event Viewer ------
The "EDI" adapter is suspending an outbound message going to destination
URL:"EDI://00002:ZZ:00002". Details:"Suspending message:
8c8feffc-13fe-4516-8edb-58ac33393541".

(2)
this time i want to pick up an edi format file and do translation to xml
format file,i put the file in folder specified in the "Biztalk Server
Administration",but it can't be picked away.no message in HAT and no info in
Application Event Viewer

i've ever sucesssed in using edi adapter in another computer with XP OS .
now i use WinServer2003 in VMWare and operate through terminal , the edi
service and biztalk service are logged on as domain account, which is also a
member of administrators group.

how can i solve this problem?

Evan

Yi, Evan:
Did you fix the problem?
I got the same problem. I configured the EDI adapter with the EDI://1234567:
zz1234567, which is the party has be binded with the file send port FileSend
Port1. The EDI file generanted in the file system. But the FileSendPort1 sea
ms not be triggered. The ED
I SubSystem failed and keep trying to connect to the biztalk document #10001
, which generated in the file system. The detail error message in applicati
on event view is:

Event Type:	Error
Event Source:	EDI Subsystem

Event ID:	23

Description:
Error encountered: ERROR (1030), interchangenr 10003 :

You have any idea about it? Thanks.
