hi,

i have installed WCS5.5 installed on Win XP machine.
The installation has been successfully done.

Now, whenever i open the Websphere Commerce Payments browser window by going
 from Start -> Programs -> IBM WebSphere Commerce -> WebSphere Commerce Paym
ents.

The browser window that opens requires an id and password.
I type the id and password as given by me (id being wcsadmin).

But, i am unable to login to the payments window and i get an error shown on
 the screen which is given as below.

Error: An error occurred while accessing the user registry.




Please help me to solve this problem as everything is installed fine but the
n also i am getting such an error so i have no clue on how to go about.

that error is very generic, it can have many causes.
