I have a problem with my ISP. I use PeoplePC Online.
Currently their automatic dialer does not allow one to
enable the XP software firewall (does not allow access to
properties of my dial up connection...period!)

does any one know how to turn on the XP firewall through
the command prompt or through the registry? my comp is
pretty much unprotected cause of that. the only reason it
hasn't been crashed is because I got a good antivirus
going.

but still I want to turn on that firewall... if any one
can help please respond to my post.

kevin

Ps- the connection exists in the dialup connection in my
network connections window but the "Properties" are not
accessable.

PeoplePC doesn't use IIS, and this is the IIS Security group. You may
find the answer in an XP group, though your best bet is contacting
PeoplePC or switching providers.
