Hi,

I am trying to create a windows 2003 web cluster using MS Application
Center with SP2. I created a domain Administrative user called
ClusterAdmin and have setup the ethernet cards according to the
documentation on the web.

Controlling WebServer details:
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: (NLB Ethernet)
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.129.50
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.129.44
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.129.1
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.129.24

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection 2: (Management Ethernet)
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.1.1.10
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

When I login as clusteradmin and create the Cluster using the MMC
snap-in it creates everything fine. Cluster IP: 10.2 129.50, Dedicated
IP 10.2.129.44 and Management IP 10.1.1.10.

As soon as I try add a second member to the cluster I get the error
message "Access Denied 0x80070005"
I added all the login credentials correctly. I have verified that this
user can login to the second machine through terminal services.

The second member details:
Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: (NLB)
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.129.46
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.129.1
DNS Servers . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.2.129.24

Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection 2: (Management)
IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.1.1.11
Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . :

If I ping the hostname of either machine I get the the NLB dedicated
IP address.

Has anyone experienced this before? I hope this isnt too long winded
and has the right info..

Thanks in advance
