recently after having my computer reconfigured and
formatted I am unable to open attachments that have been
sent to me.These are not of a suggestive nature and are
entirely clean,sent to me by people that have checked
thier respective systems for bugs,yet outlook express will
not allow them to be openned as attachements how do I
overcome this

well, first you try asking in a group that talks about oe.
and while you are waiting for an answer you may try exploring the security
tab on the tools/options dialog.
