Hello,

We keep getting the following error in our Biztalk Servers. Whenever this h
appens, the Biztalk stops and tries to restart itself automatically, and it
is sitting out there in hanging state for ever.

THe application event log shows the following error:

[0x0128] The next scheduled work item cannot be obtained for processing.
[0x172e] There was a serious error within the BizTalk Server scheduler c
omponent. The server is being shut down. Resolve this problem and then resta
rt the server.

Whenever this happens there are couple of entries in the retry Queue, when w
e clear the retry queue and restart the server it works fine.

We are not sure that there is a dependency between the retry Queue and the B
iztalk Server getting paused.

Anyone if theyencounter this problem, could provide some help on how to reso
lve the problem permanently from occuring would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Shankar

I have seen a case of this recently that was corrected by reapplying sp1
for Biztalk 2002.
