I need to learn Brocade's Fabric OS. Does anyone know of a good book or
even and PDFs that I could download to learn it? I cant seem to find
anything serious about Fabric OS.

Jonathan G.

Try the Fabric OS reference manual and the Fabric OS Procedures Guide.
Those and some more are on the documentation CD that comes with the
switch or somewhere on the Brocade web site for download if you're
registered with them, I think the link is named Brocade connect.

Hey thanks! I found the Fabric OS Procedures Guide on their website which
is a great introduction to configuring their SAN switches. THANKS A MILLION
Frank.

Im still quite amazed at the paucity of actual books on the topic of SANs
and Brocade though.

Take care. Jonathan

Glad I could help.

There are some more general SAN books available like Mike Farleys
"Building Storage Networks" and some more. Have a look at amazon and
the like for "fibre channel" or "storage networks". If you need to
know something really specific a private mail can help...

You could get the official Book, "Building SANs with Brocade Switches".
Available from Bookpool, and other fine booksellers.

Regs,
Andy
