I have been try to get rid of a pop up home page titled"Search the Web". I c
an't get rid of it. I have used spybo,adaware,cleaners and 5 other parasite 
cleansers, but no results. I used to see this and AdAware was able to get ri
d of it, but no more.  I tr
ied downloading their plug in. I get it to download, but it never shows up i
n the AdAware plugin screen. Help ...really getting frustrated.

I have still not solved my problem, but I thank you for responding and tryin
g. I have installed "Syt Sweeper" which catches the parasite everytime it tr
ys to take ove, but then it flashes an alert which I have to acknowledge eve
ry 5 seconds. What a pain.
Any other sugestions of how to permanetly never see this thing ???  Thanks

Chuckster,
Try Hijackthis tool and tell us the results of it. you can
copy the results that you get. What is the exact page detail of the pop-up
that you get?
