Is Application Center event and performance logging (MSDE) installed on
both machines?
Do you have MSSQL$MSAC service on both members?
Thank You

When trying to add a member to an existing cluster it fails with the
following error message:
0xC0140045
The SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE) setting on the member is not the
same as on the controller. This flag is used to confirm that the member and
the controller have the same MSDE installation configuration.
Both the member and controller have SQL 2000 SP1 installed.
Environment: Windows 2K, IIS 5.0, AC2000 SP1
Thanks for any assistance!
