There are some modifications needed with ssl and ntlm sites:

327873 HOW TO: Use Application Center Test with an SSL Application
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=327873

322032 PRB: 401 Error Message When You Use Application Center Test with NTLM
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=322032

ACT will not handle forms-based authentication automatically. If your Web
application allows users to manually send names and passwords in form
elements, you will need to explicitly edit the query string or body of the
request to mimic a client-side form submission.

It’s not automatically handled by ACT. You will need to modify your script

Like this….

http://www.foo.com/login.aspx?user=...0password=12345

No ACT does not launch the browser when it replays the script.

Thank You
