Hi all,

When I open the Commerce Server Manager and go to resources/predictor
service/models or resources/predictor service/model configurations, I get an
"Access is denied" error.
I have CS2K2 developer SP3 on a W2K3 standard server.
Any ideas?

Thank you,

Sandra Castellanos

Hi Sandra,

You may need go to "component service manager" on your win2003 server and
add yourself to "allow access" for the "Microsoft Commerce Server Predcitor
Service".

In the MMC, "component service"-> computers->My Computer->DCOM Config->
"Microsoft Commerce Server Predcitor Service" -> right click and click
"properties"-> select "security" tab, in the launch permissions and Access
Permissions sections, please add yourself to have permissions to launch and
access "Microsoft Commerce Server Predcitor Service".

You need to restart the predictor service after the change.

You should be able to access module configuration in Commerce server
manager after that.

Thanks,
Jason

Thanks Jason,

I solved this last week, sorry I forgot to keep the newsgroup posted on
that. I did what you said, and also followed the procedure that is described
here:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/d...rvices_wyhu.asp

Not sure which of the 2 worked, but it's good to keep them both in mind.

Regards,

SC
