Hello,

I am having a problem setting up the FPSE2002 SMTP server
settings for websites in IIS6 on Windows 2003 (clean
install, all latest patches). When I goto Website
properties->Server Extensions 2002->Settings, I log in to
administration page (as server Administrator), proceed to
fill out 'SMTP Mail Server', 'From Address', 'To Address'
etc., but when i click 'Submit' button nothing happens
("Done" in lower right-corner of page).

This is causing a major problem, as the FP email forms
will not work because no SMTP server is specified for the
repective site (Get "Cannot run the FrontPage Server
Extensions on this page error" upon form submission).

All other FPSE functions seem to be ok, i.e. publishing,
counters, etc.

Any ideas? TIA
Kind Regards,
-Dave

Why have you not specified the SMTP server in the forms to email set up in
the FP server extensions?

Is there a file or registry entry that can be modified,
rather than submitting this information through the web
administration page?

Fixed it... Had to lower security settings in IE :P admin
changes took ok then. After that had to re-install
extensions for sites usings forms and worked ok.

Also found the command-line utility owsadm will do it as
well ^_^ (didnt have time for a whole lot of research the
other day)
