Hi,
I have a Windows 2000 server running IIS 5.0 configured
with FPSE 2000.
Noticed that under the "Default Web Site" properties,
under the "Server Extensions" tab, there is a version
number at the bottom-left corner. Is this the FPSE
version number? If not, what does this version number
refer to?
This server has version 4.0.2.7802. I have other Windows
2000 IIS5.0 servers with version 4.0.2.4022 instead.
How do I downgrade to the latter version? Any help is
appreciated!

You probably can't. Various Win 2K patches and service packs contain
upgrades to the FP Server Extensions. You would have to find the various
patches that contain the FP SE upgrades, which can be tricky and also
detrimental as removing those patches removes a bunch of other important
security patches. They don't effect FrontPage users and are pretty much just
security and performance patches.

Hope this helps,
