Hey everyone,

My organization is looking to have functionality in IIS 6 (w/FrontPage
Server Extensions 2002) where web administrators can create and set
permissions for accounts local to the web  (similar to .htaccess on UNIX).

I know that FrontPage offers the permission to web administrators to create
local users ... unfortunately, this function actually adds a local account
to the SAM database on the server itself.  Does anyone know another way of
accomplishing this without allowing users the ability to create actual users
on the server?
