Hi there,
I am installing BTS standard edition on Win2003 server.
The machine is in a domain, as are the accounts used for the BT services.
The accounts have Domain admin rights.

When running the config, I get the following error (using DNS, Active
Directory integration):
10:50:46 Info MSMQTConfig] Entering function: CMSMQTConfig::ConfigureFeature
[10:50:46 Info MSMQTConfig] Message Queuing will use computer name IND-D
ATA-02
[10:50:46 Info MSMQTConfig] Message Queuing will bind to all IP addresse
s on
this computer (no side-by-side mode)
[10:50:46 Warning ConfigHelper] Unable to retrieve install path for
component: MessageQueuing
[10:50:46 Error MSMQTConfig]

rt\source\msmqt\src\setup\extention\
msmqtconfig.cpp(491): FAILED hr = 8007232a
[10:50:46 Error MSMQTConfig]
 c:\depot4000\jupiter\source\private\moza
rt\source\msmqt\src\setup\extention\
msmqtconfig.cpp(197): FAILED hr = 8007232a
[10:50:46 Info MSMQTConfig] Leaving function: CMSMQTConfig::ConfigureFea
ture

This exact error can be found on http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=836462.
However, the server is not running a local MSMQ.

Any suggestions? I've been busy with this for 2 days.
Thanks,
Michel

I'm passing on a message from the MSMQ tester:

"The HRESULT means “DNS server failure”. Make sure that “Register in DNS”
checkbox on the MSMQT config page is UNCHECKED. If not, then it is some
other dns issue – contact your network administrator."

I'm guessing you want integration but may DNS is only configured for static
entries and not dynamic ones?
