What do you need the 'WHEN/WHO' information for? - I dont know if there are
properties for this infomation by drop the resource object into a debug
watch and look for the properties.

Also - this may be a bit out of left field (If i seem like i'm rambling
ignore it  )
I've been reading  Mei Ying's article
http://meiyinglim.blogspot.com/2004...-resources.html that
returns the postings that a resource is used on.

Something is telling me to look at combining Mei Ying's 'Where are my
resources' script with Stefan's 'Cleanup placeholder content after resource
gallery items have been deleted'....

one idea - in the CmsPosting_PlaceholderPropertyChanging event if we find a
'deleted'  resource we could check the rest of the MCMS site for postings
using this of this Resource and then we could remove the reference...

another idea - Is there a Resource Deleted event? if so we could look for
all the postings that use that resource and cleanup their content ...

That way if a resource is deleted all the postings referencing it would have
the links to the resource cleared...
