Thank you for your prompt help and advise.

When I tried to create a suse directory, I got the message "cannot created
directory '/mnt/suse" Permission denied.

I then went to command line and into the mnt dirctory.  I typed mkdir suse
and got the permission denied again.

Click up a terminal
su -l root
mkdir /mnt/suse
