Dear Sirs,

I would like to ask whether it is possible to add new package to Debian
distribution - TclODBC (http://sourceforge.net/projects/tclodbc)?

For now, Debian has nice support for both Tcl/Tk and ODBC, but there is
no package included to connect them together (or I can not find it).

It is useful to have it e.g. for making usage of FirebirdSQL from Tcl,
and for having standard SQL interface available at Tcl language.

Thank you, Martin Saturka

Debian is entirely run by volunteers. It will be done if someone
decides to do it.

You can for example decide to do the packaging job yourself (if you
feel technically competent enough). In this case, see
http://www.debian.org/devel/join/newmaint .

Or, if you wish for someone else to do the job, you can register your
wish in our "Work Needed and Prospective Packages" system. In this
case, see http://www.debian.org/devel/wnpp/ .

Best Regards,
