Most fireproof safes are to keep the internal temps below the ignition
point of most paper. And as a secondary usually have a flamable
material that ignites a little before the paper and releases fire
suppressent (and consumes available oxygen).
This is far above the temps that tapes/disks/optical media are rated
for. You need to get a safe rated for tape storage.
