Will WC5.6 run on WAS 5.0 Express?  It looks like the only versions of
WAS 5.0 for Linux on x86 being made available outside the WC5.6 bundle
currently are the Enterprise version and the Express version both of
which I believe are unsupported by WC5.6.

No, it will not run on 5.0 Express since the Express version of 5.0 does
not support EJBs.
