Hi,

I have a question for Norton Ghost 9. I have an external firewire HD
in NTFS format which I plan to use for system (XP Pro) backup. Suppose
my system's HD crashed and provided I have an Ghost image stored in
that external firewire HD in NTFS. Is it possible for Ghost 9 to boot
up and recognize that external HD then do the restore? Thanks in
advance!

Yes, you boot up from the Norton Ghost 9 program CD in an environment based
on Windows PE that has a base support for both USB 1.1, USB 2.0 and
FireWire.
Based on the same procedure of Drive Image 7.0x.

All that comes with Drive Image 7.0x is built in in Norton Ghost 9.0 and, in
addition to that, it supports incremental backup...

Will Norton Ghost 9 boot with WinPE and recognize a backup image of C,  on D
 a NTFS drive and restore  C, also a NTFS drive?
