I have a (legitimate) program/system that generates and forwards emails on a
monthly basis which is easily done via Win2003 SMTP. The issue is that I
need to know if any of the mails are undeliverable (NDR) thus I would assume
to need a (Win2003) pop server to receive the NDR mail which is bounced back
to me. What I'm wondering is if there is a way (scripts, 3rd part app, etc)
to somehow scan all the NDR routinely or even real time and based on the
original (bad) email address forward it to another (known good)
administrative email address so we can get look into why the email was
undeliverable. I'm new to email so any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
