Believe it or not. I don't have to turn in homeworks as there is no
homework assignments.  The instructor just said "do the stuff formt he
gray areas of each chpater) while reading the text book. he didn't
even say we should do end of chpater exrcises but I do it. We only
take quiz (no time limit) online.

I am just trying to learn as much as possible by doing homework
assignment of a course called Unix System Administration (see below).
It turned out that  some of what I was asking was going to be covered
in the next chapter of my book which I have just started reading.

The problem set I was trying was from a website of a course at
another university, actually a school I went to but didn't get time to
take that course that I so wanted to take before keaving that state. I
just knew that instructor's website - she even let me sit in her class
during my last senmester there but I was too busy to take advantge on
that offer.  I was trying to do that homework assignments (because the
online class I am taking is from a community college and a slower
paced class; admission process to a nearby university just to take a
course is annoying aside from the fact that they don't have online
class, i.e I have to get parkig permit at taht school, which is
expensive in CA, aside form getting stuck in traffic since I don't
live near that school) but I don't hve that text book and whatever I
have read from my text for my course (online course) wasn't enough to
answer some of the question on that homework set. I was thinking to
buy that text book also .... but more importantly, I need to get a PC
and isntall Linux first to really be able to keep up with that course.

Sorry for the long post; just wan tto let people know that getting
credit for the course is not my goal. Learning is. I should have tried
manpage mnaual but I was in a hurry 'cos time was running out
yesterday ...
