Ho tentato pił volte di installare ADSL  su linux  Mandrake
vers. 9.2 & 10.0 , niente da fare !!
Qualche suggerimento ?

I attmpted severeal time to  configure ADSL  on Linux Mandrake
vers.  9.2 &  10.0  , with no result !!
Any suggestion on the matter ?

Before we can help, you have tell us what kind of ADSL-modem and what kind
of connection model (PPPoA, PPPoE, bridged ethernet, plain ethernet from
your PC) you use.

Thanks for your reply ,
in effect I should have declared what
Modem is involved.
The modem is the  Sagem  one , F@st 800 , as suggested by  Mandrake itself.
Everything seems to be well done , syncronization  appear to be O.K.  bu no
connection ,
take place. Hoping to hear you again.

Sorry, I don't know that modem. Can't you ask in a local ADSL newsgroup:
often knowledge about the ADSL/ISP provider is needed.

Do you have Mandrake's firewall installed?  I couldn't get a connection
until I had configured Shorewall.  In my case, I had to set eth0 as my
internet connection (I use the firmware pppoe in my adsl router).
