Hi,
I don't see anywhere in the IE that can disable the download option, can
you direct me please. And after you disable that, can't the user enable that
again? Thx.

I would suggest that you not try to control what people will do on this
network and not put any important machines on this network. If this is for
Internet access at your cafe, provide a separate connection for the
customers and you won't even care what they do. You will never be able to
control what customers are doing because you don't control their computers.
Unless I am totally misunderstaning you here??!@?!

I think you are. I believe what he wants to do is to set up a network, including computers at the 'cafe tables' and allow people to pay for time to sit at the tables and surf/etc. Therein, he doers not want the customers to be able to download files over the net, while they are surfing on 'his' computers. -- x "being the smartest window-licker on the shortbus doesn't make you a genius" By the way, I'm petty and snide. Actually, the reason I want to restrict people from downloading is I don't
want them to download some virus into the computer, if they do, this not
only affect us but our customers as well. Also, this can also reduce the
traffic, customers will have a smoother/faster surf on the internet. As
well, this will reduce the amount of download each month, so that we can
join a lower plan ^^"
So does anyone know how I can do that? Thx.
